Why are our prices so low?

Everything about Washway is designed to lower overhead. Lower overhead means lower prices to our customers.

Why do we charge shipping?

Shipping is a cost that fluctuates. For any company to pay shipping they must figure this fluctuating cost into their overhead, typically at the highest range of fluctuation. We charge the shipping to our customers so you only pay the exact cost of shipping, nothing more.

Why do we need a credit card?

Carrying accounts is expensive and high risk. Requiring a credit card on every account solves both of these problems. With a credit card you can get 30 days or more and still receive products at low prices. By requiring a card on every account, you as a paying customer, are not paying the overhead of bad debt accounts.

Why do we not ship C.O.D?

Shipping companies charge a C.O.D fee. We do not believe our customers should have to pay this. We established a system of either pre-pay with a credit card or an easy to open account to avoid any unneeded fees.

Why do we not run trucks?

Trucks require gas, insurance, brakes, oil changes, and other maintenance. They also need the labor of a driver/salesman. In order to get the full potential of a private fleet the trucks must leave full everyday and come back empty of product. This is extremely high overhead. By using a company whose primary business is shipping, we bring that cost to a minimum.

Why do we not price match?

We do not have loss leaders. We give our customer top quality products at the best prices all the time.
